Our brand reflects this philosophy. Taken at face value, our name is a direct reference to the traditional tool for sharpening knives. This refers to our precision and dedication to honing our craft. It also reflects our commitment and connections to the rural-based community of the Fraser Valley.

However, it is when we dissect our name, that it is most revealing about who we are and what we stand for: “Water” and “Stone”, two elements that exist in harmony in nature, one that is dynamic, flowing and everchanging; the other being steadfast, solid and secure; both standing to symbolize our principals and values. Furthermore, the typography, with its suggestion of etched stone and the waterdrop element on the “W”, further emphasizes this juxtaposition of grounded experience and a fluid, flexible mindset.
